On the latest version of the Gmail app, you can read and send mail from all your email addresses—even if they're not an @gmail or a Google for Work account. Follow the steps below.
Add an account
If you’d like to add other accounts to your Gmail app, follow these steps:
- Open the Gmail app.
- Touch the menu on the top left .
- At the top, touch the down arrow to the right of your username.
- Touch Add account.
- If you’re adding:
- A Gmail or Google for Work address, touch Google.
- A non-Gmail address (like Yahoo or Hotmail), touch Personal (POP, IMAP).
- A business email address that uses Exchange, touch Corporate (available for Nexus devices running Android 5.0 or higher).
- Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.
Your username will be your full email address and your password will be provided to you.
That's it. If everything is working OK, you should see some email messages. To make sure you can send messages, go ahead and compose an email and send it to yourself.
